All over the world people are turning against Santa Claus, or more properly his American incarnation. Activists are accusing him of close ties with multi-national corporations, commercialisation of Christmas and god knows what else. Keep your dirty hands and tongues off my Santa Claus!

The problem with humanities is that they are not backwards-compatible. In most other fields of human knowledge even a complete paradigm switch does not erase the basic truths that form a foundation of the science – and human experience.

This post won’t be even half as witty in English, so instead of a translation here’s a short explanation of the story for all of you poor souls who do not speak Polish.Many of you probably know the “Third Watch” series. It’s been aired like ages ago in different parts of the world. Recently I turned on my TV only to find the last episode of the last series being aired.

By a strange twist of fate I ended up at the LC’s concert in Warsaw’s Torwar hall. I’ve been waiting for this concert for all of my life, really. As anxious as I was, I went there and… it was the most… the best… the… Gosh, I’m speechless.

In short: several weeks ago my computer finally crashed. Nothing new under the sun, as Ecclesiastes put it. This time I installed both the good’ol’ Windows XP and a brand-new Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron. They advertise it as a “linux for human beings”. Yeah, right…

A cigarette. As simple as that. It’s my day one today, okay? Gotta problem with that? I finally understand pregnant women: I hate you! All of you!

I have moved my homepage to a new server and updated the CMS (new WordPress!), which made me start thinking about new layout as well – and slightly refurbished content. With time, the page will not only focus on me personally, but on my company as well. As Beethoven once said, es muss sein. For months my clients were more frequent visitors here than my friends. For now I’m experimenting with various themes, but I guess the final one will be The Morning After …
